Veronica Aboyer CCER Specialist State Farm Insurance Companies Biography Veronica Aboyer is a specialist in the Corporate Communications and External Relations Department at State Farm's corporate headquarters in Bloomington, Il. Veronica joined State Farm in May 2001 as a Community Development Intern in the Emerging Markets Department. She has led a number of community efforts since that time. In her current role, Veronica's primary responsibility is to manage community development partnerships and State Farm's relationship. Veronica received her bachelor's degree from the State University of New York College at Brockport. She received her master of science degree in Applied Community and Economic Development in August 2006. She is a member of the Phi Beta Delta Honor Society, Beta Psi Chapter. Before her State Farm career, Veronica held a variety of positions. Most notability she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ghana, West Africa, from 1996-1998. In Ghana, she led the construction of two schools that serve six communities. She also volunteered for her local neighborhood association as a Big Sister Volunteer for eight years and tutored at-risk youth. She also serves on the Housing and Planning Committee of Mid Central Community Action, a NeighborWorks affiliate. Veronica is the proud mother of a 4-year-old daughter, Lariba.
