Shrinking the Digital Divide will expose youngsters to Internet technology and use in a safe environment at the local Boys and Girls Club. The targeted audience is pre-teens (ages 8-11), teens (12-16), and adults. The youth are a captive audience in that they attend or visit the Boys and Girls Club daily for after-school care. Youngsters will gain the knowledge and skills to build Web pages. Results will be measured through the number of successfully completed web pages.
