Delores Lenzy-Jones Dell Inc. Senior Finance Consultant Round Rock, Texas Community Service Project Girl Power aims to improve the self-esteem and self-image of girls 9-12 years old. The project addresses the need for young girls to view themselves as intelligent and powerful with infinite potential. The goal is to expand the number of young women entering and completing middle and high school as well as college. Strong, confident young girls have a better chance of becoming successful women and are less likely to become teen parents, who often succumb to depression.
