Register Operations E&D Specialist State Farm Insurance Companies Winter Haven, Florida Community Service Project Youth Entrepreneurship Development, a collaboration with the Callahan Neighborhood Center in Orlando, Florida, will equip at least 40 youth (7th-12th grades) with the knowledge, tools and leadership skills to start their own businesses. Currently, the curriculum of the Callahan Center includes a broad variety of entrepreneurial training sessions, including the nuts and bolts of establishing a business as well as the basics of business dress and appropriate behavior. Missing from the curriculum are workshops on risk management (business insurance) and leadership development. These components will be added. The project will also sponsor eight students (10th-11th graders) to participate in the Gallup Leadership Institute Youth Leadership Program, designed for high school students.
