YW LIFT (Young Women Informed Financially Today) will help selected young women in the Washington, DC area, between the ages of 10-18, become smart about money, understand how finances work in their daily lives and in their communities. Participants will learn about investing, credit, and other finance matters. Knowledgeable women will share their financial expertise. Field trips to local banks, credit unions, and brokerage firms will supplement the classroom instructions. Each participant will have a mentor.
