We Care Sister, Inc. (Women Educating, Challenging and Reaching Each Sister) Project developed by: LILLIAM B. HOLT Location: Silver Spring, Maryland We Care Sister, Inc. (Women Educating, Challenging and Reaching Each Sister) will challenge girls 13 to 17 in the Washington, DC area to excel in the sciences and mathematics. We know that science and mathematics courses are the gatekeepers to the pursuit of careers in some of the highest salaried jobs such as pharmacy, medicine, law, engineering, and computer technology. We Care Sisters will help build the confidence and self-esteem of young girls and encourage them to take advanced math and science courses, and do well in them. In addition, the program will engage the girls in cultural enrichment activities.
