Youth Impact Project developed by: LESLIE C. WILLIAMS Location: Bloomington, Illinois Youth Impact—Job Connections partners with the McLean County Compact in Bloomington, Illinois to help youth with job readiness. The project will provide computer training, portfolio building, professional etiquette, mock interviews, and job shadowing. In addition, it will assist with job placement and monitor the young people’s progress on the job. Volunteers will mentor the youth, building self-confidence and encouraging appropriate professional behaviors by listening, teaching and coaching.
