A Widow's Mite Project developed by: Angela V. Lundy Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania A Widow's Mite provides assistive help for people with physical, mental or sensory disabilities not covered by medical insurance. Devices such as hearing aids, walkers, canes, wheelchairs, oxygen equipment, beds, portable ramps, etc. will be loaned or given to individuals. In addition, the project will aid the physical rehabilitation of the disabled and assist the family caregivers. It will also be a resource for social services agencies.
